Writing Deliverables
As a copywriter, I craft succinct, engaging product descriptions that bring the client’s products to life on e-commerce platforms. If you’ve ever wondered whether people read product descriptions before they buy a product, they do!
By writing a clear opener and highlighting the product features, I inspire online shoppers to envision themselves with the product they’re thinking about buying. This includes describing how they might wear it (e.g on casual days indoors or for smart work events), expanding on technical innovations (e.g waterproof, cleated sole etc) and sparking ideas about how the product can add value to their life (e.g by adding some personality to their home). In this way, I play an important part in the online conversion process.






AI Deliverables
As an AI Editor, I help brands adapt AI-generated copy into language that resonates with their customers. I do this by meticulously proofreading AI copy to ensure that it reflects the brand’s unique tone of voice. I adjust the language where necessary (for example, by shifting from passive to active voice), I remove any hallucinations (false claims) that the AI may have included and I update the sentence structure to improve flow.
AI has increased the production time and output for many of the freelance projects I’ve worked on. However, AI-generated copy still requires a trained human eye to retain the natural, human feel that consumers expect from the brands they interact with online. The examples shown here read similarly to the ones I wrote without AI above, which is the goal! This is how we continue to build trust and convert one-off shoppers into returning customers.
